Long Time no Post!

Well my term at Hogwarts has ended... I will not be returning next term. It gets a little too busy during that time of year!

I enjoyed this so much!!

My pacakge arrived from Penelope of Fltiwick! There was a chocolate frog, a wand! , gorgeous yarn, great needles!! a scarf book!! I have to post pics soon! But my camera has been on the fritz! I think I need new rechargeable batteries... I tried with my iMac camera but it did not work so good....

Well the box got repacked and then my little one got strep... so it was delayed.... I am going to the PO today though!! YEAH!!!

Slowly!

I had a snag with the bag sewing! But I think I finally got the hang of it!! So much for my Monday prediction!! I am putting the finishing touches on by hand! Should be done in the next couple days....

I decided to sew the bag!! I messed up totally! So I will have to go in search of other fabric.... and I think a new pattern (tried using a tutorial off the web...) this weekend!! Oh well... i really did not like the fabric as much as I thought I would anyway!! But URGH!!

So... two owls this week! Yarn delivered with one and needles with another! I am getting the bag done but may stop and sew a bag.... I found fabrics that really go well in the house colors of my spoilee and it is more versatile!

I am getting Closer!

I have been working on my kit! I just ordered the yarn and needles!! I have some great extras! And I am slowly getting the bag knitted!!

So, I am getting the bag finished... But I decided to make the stitch markers! I must say I am really happy with the turn out! Now I may have to make more! I found this site which I really like the way it was made (And it was all of the supplies I bought!) Click HERE to see You have to scroll down the page a ways... Then I found this !!! How cool!! It is like magic they are called Shrinky Dinks!! To make Charms for stitch markers! Still on the search for just the right yarn... Which I think i am going with some from here It is the Firefly (yes my spoilee is a Hufflepuff)... I think it is just right.... Then for the needles... not sure I have a couple sets in mind and might go with both!! Oooohh the possibilities!!

Have you seen....

I have been working on my kit planning for my pal! Mostly in the brainstorming stage right now.... I am about 35% done with the bag. Looking for liner fabric, sock yarn in Hufflepuff colors and stitch markers... I have a couple trinkets but still on the search!
