Long Time no Post!

Well my term at Hogwarts has ended... I will not be returning next term. It gets a little too busy during that time of year!

I enjoyed this so much!!

My pacakge arrived from Penelope of Fltiwick! There was a chocolate frog, a wand! , gorgeous yarn, great needles!! a scarf book!! I have to post pics soon! But my camera has been on the fritz! I think I need new rechargeable batteries... I tried with my iMac camera but it did not work so good....

Well the box got repacked and then my little one got strep... so it was delayed.... I am going to the PO today though!! YEAH!!!

Slowly!

I had a snag with the bag sewing! But I think I finally got the hang of it!! So much for my Monday prediction!! I am putting the finishing touches on by hand! Should be done in the next couple days....

I have almost finished sewing the bag! But, I am using a different handle and may need to plan the attachment! But once that is done!! I will send my Owl!! Hopefully by Monday!!

I decided to sew the bag!! I messed up totally! So I will have to go in search of other fabric.... and I think a new pattern (tried using a tutorial off the web...) this weekend!! Oh well... i really did not like the fabric as much as I thought I would anyway!! But URGH!!

So... two owls this week! Yarn delivered with one and needles with another! I am getting the bag done but may stop and sew a bag.... I found fabrics that really go well in the house colors of my spoilee and it is more versatile!

I am getting Closer!

I have been working on my kit! I just ordered the yarn and needles!! I have some great extras! And I am slowly getting the bag knitted!!

So, I am getting the bag finished... But I decided to make the stitch markers! I must say I am really happy with the turn out! Now I may have to make more! I found this site which I really like the way it was made (And it was all of the supplies I bought!) Click HERE to see You have to scroll down the page a ways... Then I found this !!! How cool!! It is like magic they are called Shrinky Dinks!! To make Charms for stitch markers! Still on the search for just the right yarn... Which I think i am going with some from here It is the Firefly (yes my spoilee is a Hufflepuff)... I think it is just right.... Then for the needles... not sure I have a couple sets in mind and might go with both!! Oooohh the possibilities!!

Have you seen....

I have been working on my kit planning for my pal! Mostly in the brainstorming stage right now.... I am about 35% done with the bag. Looking for liner fabric, sock yarn in Hufflepuff colors and stitch markers... I have a couple trinkets but still on the search!

Okay and I also just realized people are leaving me comments! (I missed Monday's feast because of it!) I did not have it set to email me when comments are left! URGH!! But it is fixed!

Looking for yarn

My homework has been mounting.... I have been working on my bag. I am in search of just the right sock yarn! And stitch markers.... But where.... Any suggestions would be great!

I have slowly gotten to my Potions work! I just love the mixing and measuring! I tried to whip up a little remedy for my sickness over the weekend! Just ended up making me sleep all morning! I was late for Potions! Urgh!! Do love the History classes though and Muggles Studies!

I have been attending my Enchanted Kit Planning class! We are learning about how to swap on a budget.... You can find lovely little extras to throw in here and there every week!

Mom and Dad sent an Owl with a wonderful letter about home... I was thankful I have not gotten a Howler.... Also I received a great care package!

I can barely sleep!

I just cannot sleep! Classes start today! I am both excited and nervous! I read some of the first chapters in my book... just in case! And I saw some of the planning for the Enchanted Kit Planning course! I cannot wait! (and I got ahead of myself buying the yarn and casting on for the bag!) Well, off to get a little more sleep!
I caught a glimpse of the new Potions Professor! He was out under the tree sleeping or catching some sun! Boy! I cannot wait! I do hope he is nice and not too much homework!

Homework and House Points!

I have finished part of my homework for Enchanted Kit Planning! I purchased some yarn yesterday for my swap persons bag... She is a Hufflepuff. I was a little worried about finding just the right shade of yellow! But I was out and found Caron's Simply Soft in Lemonade and Black! Perfect! I casted on! (I know I am ahead of the game classes start tomorrow! But, I just could not help myself! )

As for House Points we are in third place!! I hear there may be a quiz later this week!

Thank goodness I was not the only one that heard this in the night.... I did not say much until now... I just was visiting with Lily and she heard it too....

I heard a rumor some Gryffindors may try to sneak to the Forbidden Forest.... How spooky and exciting!

Our common room has been quite fragrant! Ever since the impromptu Orchideous lesson... flowers have been appearing everywhere! IF only I could find a conjuring spell that would produce my knitting for Enchanted Kit Planning!

I need to go broom shopping.... Also, work on the Enchanted Kit Planning homework.... I have discovered which bag to knit but now need to find the right yarn and colors!

I hear there may be a Yule Ball this year.....

You see my Mum is Perpetua (Phoenixfire) and my Dad is Rodolphus Dumbledore far far distant relation to Percival Dumbledore.

I have a brother Havelock and his wife Electra The Enchanted... a cute niece Winifred...
My sister is Bella Le Blizzard and her husband Bertrum Le BLizzard....

We are a wizard family although there were rumors Winifred might have some distant Muggle relation through her Mum....

I am waiting for my secret pal here at Hogwarts and to begin the term!! I tried and tried to conjure up a quick spell to progress my knitting but none have worked....

Oohh I also caught sight of Harry Potter! Boy is he cute... Although Ron Weasley is quite adorable...

I hear that there was a problem over in the Ravenclaw Common Room! A First year and water.... I hope the knitting dries out soon! I am happy to have arrived safe at Hogwarts and Gryffindor Common Room! Hope to get some pleasure knitting done before the term begins!!
